Step by step

people walking on desert during daytime

Our Rumshines guide meets you at the Wadi Rum Resthouse at 10:30 am and then your trip itinerary is explained. All of our guides are local Bedouins with a lifetime of desert experience.

From here we travel by jeep to Lawrence’s Spring, the place Lawrence of Arabia is believed to have washed and where inscriptions can also be seen before heading for the sand dunes. The sand dunes are both pleasant to look at and also great fun to climb and run or sand board down.  The morning tour also enables you to view the Anfisheyh Inscriptions and Lawrence’s House.

Following a thirty minute walk to Fig Valley we enjoy lunch before continuing to Burdah Rock Bridge. From there we will travel to the Um Frouth rock bridge which you can chose to climb for some wonderful photo opportunities and views of the desert. Finally we drive to camp for the night to experience a Wadi Rum sunset.

At the camp you will experience a true Bedouin night filled with traditional food, tea, singing, stories and dancing that will leave memories to last a lifetime.

Following breakfast we depart by camel to return to Rum Village (this will take around 2 hours).
